Ah, just read the article, nice job AG (carl/starks). Just a few corrections DRTC never played BestBR in the double elim bracket, i think you were referring to HaC who got 5th in the end. DRTC lost to Cmx in the other bracket and played off against DTP for 3rd place.

Anywho its good to see some coverage of some of top lan events in Australia, you guys should consider covering some of the online events to further attract the competitive community.

I'd cover online events if they were held hax. Since my time at AG there hasn't been any online tournaments I could get enough information to report on, but I will be making contact with and organisers to seek better access to fixtures etc for any future online competitions with a decent entry.

Ah ok, well outside of the online haloforum tournaments there isn't much. I do know that a h3 2v2 online tournament was held just before g1 melb with a bracket, mini-write up and series of gameplays. More recently a h3 4v4 online tournament was held which maxed out at 16 teams although a few did drop out a few days before. Still a fairly intense competition that brought out a few good new teams, notably brad's team. There was no official write up but members of community that participated provided there own perspective of the comp, links to players file share where tournament gameplay was uploaded were provided and a bracket was available throughout.
