"Who We Are" We are the Halo mad staff of Spectre Corporation. From humble beginnings in September 2003 we have been running what today are recognised as the largest professional Halo based tournaments in Australia. We look forward to being able to deliver and report on every bit of information regarding Halo and our community. As hosts of the Queensland Halo Preliminaries for the World Cyber Games and thanks to great commitment from staff and sponsors we are able to be part of the biggest gaming tournament in the World.  Above: Andrew 'Bamazing' Roach "Why We're Doing It" The Finish the Fight project has been in development for many years and through many different stages with the first being Halo LIVE. Finish The Fight was originally planned to be launched inline with the GamersWorld Network. Due to some unfortunate circumstances the GamersWorld Network has hit a halt and is currently still in development. After a meeting was held between SPECTRE Staff, an executive decision was met to ensure that the website would be launched on the 25th of September along side Halo 3's release. Final Words from Chris Hamilton - Well, The entire project has been up and down over the past few years. The timing wasn't great, players were coming and going and ultimately the site was not being utilised to its full potential. We've changed the name, taken a different approach to the website and this time round, we are determined to ensure that Finish the Fight continues going strong starting from the release of Halo 3, right through to its eventful ending! With the features the site has and the way it's been designed, it allows for us to bring the community, the news, articles and information we've always wanted to deliver. With dedicated staff such as Phynx, Starks, Jooney, Xcrete & killself, lead by PHENOMENON and THE REAL SARS, there is little room for errors and an unprofessional structure. After all this though, we hope you enjoy the website. |
