September 25, 2007 - SPECTRE Announce Finish The Fight Website. 

We're very excited to be launching this new project in time with Halo 3. 

If you havent had a chance to look around the site, I'll go over some finer details for you! This will be the place to come to check all competitive Halo news, from clan lineup changes, to national rankings. We will cover it all. We have a segment on the site where (just for fun) players submit their best screenshot (taken using Bungie's saved films feature) and enter it into our Monthly Screenshot Competititon. The best screenshot is published into our Hall of Fame for the world to see. 

We have an Exclusive Clans segment as well. Towards the end of the year, we will approach the clans who we think are the best. They will be offered  a deal where we will host their videos, montages, screenshots and supply them with their own private clan forum - all we ask in return is that they let us be the first to know about any competitive Halo news regarding them and their team.

The GamersWorld forums installed a Shoutbox which was primarily implemented for the Halo Community. Want to organise a 4v4? Use the Shoutbox! It's a great place to keep a whole lot of Halo gamers together.

Daniel Jones (many know as Xcrete) is in charge and running the Player Spotlight feature. Player Spotlight Interviews dive deep into a players life outside of Halo. What they do for a living, what they plan to do in the future, where they're from, siblings etc. Any information they want kept private will be kept private however! 

We have an amazing list of staff. People who are extremely dedicated to committing themselves to the Halo Community. In no particular order.. Phynx, Starks, Jooney, Xcrete & killself. With management being looked over by PHENOMENON and THE REAL SARS.

This will be the place you will find out about any upcoming tournaments. All photos taken from events will be made public on display at our online gallery for all to see!  

We have a list of rankings that cover national, each state and New Zealand territories. For every state tournament held, the first placing team recieves three points, second placing team recieves two points, third placing team recieves one point. This works out even as states are not compared against each other, so no state has an advantage if they decide to hold more tournaments than others.

The National rankings point system is different. If the current first placed team from QLD, NSW and VIC turn up, additional points are awarded to first, second and third placings. In other words, National Ranking points are dependant on the state rankings of the teams that enter.

This creates an even playing field and is going to be a fantastic way to keep track of who's the best Halo Team in Australia.

To go with the launch of the website, we have made the following announcements - 

The Return of SPECTRE Xbox LAN Club, Interviews with both Smatt Man & Strangled_Duck, Exclusive Halo 3 Screening Writeup by Starks and Jooney, Player Spotlight Introduction with Xcrete, an online 4v4 competition (details to be announced, and a competition where we are giving away FOUR exclusive Halo 3 blazers.
